Abstract

As the mobile communication technologies are developing rapidly, the limited wireless resources become more crowded, and the interference become more serious. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology is made for high-speed data transmission and high utilization of the spectrum, frequency hopping technology possess the characteristics of anti-interference, therefore, OFDM frequency-hopping communication system which combined frequency-hopping technology and OFDM technology could support high-speed data transmission and become major trend for future development of mobile communication. the multi-band OFDM programme from IEEE 802.15.3a proposal provides a feasible reference for the combination of frequency hopping OFDM system.OFDM frequency hopping communication system is designed and constructed by using Simulink simulation software based on OFDM technology and frequency hopping technology, Construction of OFDM modulation system is based on the IEEE 802.15.3a proposal for the multi-band OFDM transmission model, which includes OFDM symbol structure, the establishment of the frame structure, the pilot insert, add cyclic prefix, channel estimation, code modulation, symbol mapping application, subsystem musk and implement. Finally, the OFDM signal bandwidth reached 528 MHz, that is each sub-band as the proposal called for which meets the transmit condition in the multi-band channel mode. With the principle of direct digital synthesis (DDS), two types of programmes are involved to establish the frequency hopper based on the different clock frequency access and different ways of frequency control, and a further study is showed for the issue of synthesis OFDM modulation system with frequency hopping systems. After the completion of integral FH-OFDM system construction, there are also some analytical simulations to check the function and performance of each subsystem. The performance of bit error rate, multipath interference and other properties are showed under the different channel parameters and conditions.The simulation results show that: the OFDM frequency hopping systems are under rational construction design. OFDM signal bandwidth could be transmitted in the multi-band channel model. The output signal is correct, System performance analysis and simulation results worth a theoretical value.
