| Abstract | TV civic news is one of the hotest topics concerned by both the mass communication field and the theoretical field from it arise in China. many scholars and news practitioners have a multi-view research of the phenomenon in TV civic news production. However, it is so obvious when taken a comprehensive view on, that analyses of TV civic news from the angle of the media ecology is rarely see.In this thesis, the TV civic news was studied using the media ecology theory of media ecology system, media ecology environment, ecology balance and ecology position. The subjects of ecology, communication and economics were involved in this paper. On the basis of reading a great of thesis and books, the TV civic news was qualitative researched combining the theoretical level and operational level.In the thesis, the connotation and Research Status of TV civic news was described firstly, then the macroscopical media ecology environment was explained from the aspects of Audiences, media vocation, economy and resources, politics and culture. The relation between the media ecology environment and TV civic news is interactional. The reaction of the TV civic news on media ecology environment was illustrated in second chapter. From the third chapter to the fifth chapter, the competition superiority, problem and improved measure of TV civic news was described from the media ecology angle.This paper demonstrates that: the media intergrowth and amalgamation of communication ecology rule is the competition superiority of TV civic news; the unnormal competion between the same ecology position is the root of existence problems in TV civic news; the development way of TV civic news are Supplementary competition and replacement competition.The angle of the media ecology provides a totally new researchview and theoretical reference news. With the help of media ecology we can analyze TV civic news more deeply, and provides practical reference for TV civic news to promote healthily and continually |
