In addition, because of the frequent reallocation of equipments and parameter adjustment, it became extremely difficult to manage the equipment removal and assets inventory. Therefore, the traditional way of manually collecting front-end data with the background equipment assets management in a computer can not meet the actual needs any more. The introduction of RFID can solve the problems of complex flow, bad real-time operation, difficult management and high error rate better. The remote, dynamic and real-time equipment assets data collection is realized which can highly improve the efficiency of equipment management and the monitoring intensity. So, the mobile communication resource survey system has been highly needed in mobile company.According to the application status and development trend of RFID technology in the network resource management, this article describes the implementation of a RFID based survey system for mobile communication resource management, as well as the analyses and investigations on the system architecture, module functionality and interaction with other Operation Support Systems (OSS) of China Mobile. Chapter 1 introduces the background of resources management in mobile communication, followed by RFID principles and its advantages in Chapter 2. The passages in Chapter 3 focus on the implementation details of the system, which include system topology, component partition. Some critical techniques are discussed in Chapter 4. At the end, conclusions are given in Chapter 5.The RFID based survey system has been completely built as the specification expected with Role-Based Access Control and middleware data packaging. It provides Application Programming Interfaces (API) supported by the RFID event Management component and is based on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), which allows communication with other OSS subsystems. |
