| Title | Research and Application of Quality Diagnosis System Based on Ontology in Extended Manufacturing |
| Abstract | In Extended Manufacturing, information used for quality diagnosis has the characteristics of distributed, heterogeneous, and diverse. These characteristics bring many great difficulties to the implementation of quality diagnosis in this environment. So the Ontology is introduced to handle the inconvenience of information integration, and thus serves as the basis of quality diagnosis.Firstly, the requirements of the Quality Diagnosis System (QDS) under this environment are analyzed, and the main frame of this QDS is designed accompanied by illustrations and explanations.Then, after a deep research on the integration of quality information in Extended Manufacturing, a solution that based on ontology is advanced. And during the implementation of the solution, the Quality Ontology Base (QOB) of the main enterprise is established which is the precondition of carrying out the quality diagnosis in this environment.Thirdly, quality diagnosis based on QOB is deeply researched. The diagnosis experience is organized into a case that will be stored in QOB, the diagnosis algorithm of searching and matching the existed case according to current quality phenomenon and the diagnosis algorithm of reasoning based on QOB are designed.Finally, combining with the application background of a national defense project, an initial Extended Manufacturing Quality Diagnosis System is developed. |
