| Title | Ontology-Based Virtual Part Intelligent Recognition Method Research and Application |
| Abstract | Due to the delayed development of assembly technology, the product assembly has become the bottleneck for enterprises achieving manufacturing automation. The development of virtual reality technology provides a new way of working for product assembly. Taking into consideration the deficiencies of the application of virtual assembly technology and focusing on the point of improving the level of intelligent of the virtual assembly system, this paper first analyses the semantic information of multi-layer virtual assembly model, achieves the formalization of ontology assembly model, the ontology logical reasoning, intelligent identification in the virtual environment and so on. Main research work and achievements can be summarized as follows:1. By analyzing the study of virtual reality technology and ontological methodology in the field of mechanical assembly, pointing out the deficiencies of virtual assembly technology , propose ontology-based virtual part intelligent recognition method.2. Through analyzing traditional CAD system assembly design method, this dissertation proposes the multi-layer assembly model based on virtual assembly environment, and then extracts the semantic information from it, including spatial relationship, mating feature, assembly feature, assembly engineering relation.3. Analyze the concept, constructing methods and semantic grammar for ontology.Build the ontological assembly model.Give the ontology vocabulary in the field of mechanical assembly and the relationship between different conception levels, describe the concept using OWL (Web Ontology Language) . 4. By giving the deficiencies of commonly ontology reasoning, it proposes the reasoning method based on OWL DL (Description Logic) and SWRL (Semantic Web Rule Language), and then design the overall architecture of the reasoning. The OWL DL reasoning is aimed at making sure tha the established ontology has better structural levels, and simultaneously ensures there isn’t any contradiction in the definitions and conceptions; the reasoning based on SWRL is used to realize the reasoning which is based on the combination of ontology knowledge and reasoning rules.5. Achieve the intelligent recognition method proposed by this paper and add the virtual part intelligent recognition modul in the 3DVR-CAPP system which researched and developed independently by our laboratory to virtify the practicality and feasibility of the method. |
