| Abstract | Oct. 1st,1998, The Chongqing Satellite TV programs began to broadcast formally via Asia-Pacific-1A Satellite. The signal covers countrywide and overseas. In the past 10 years, Chongqing Satellite TV has made great progress. However, competitions between provincial Satellite TV turn out a new situation in 2008. There is still a development gap among Chongqing Satellite TV and advanced ones. How to win a new development in the next 10 years is a question this paper considering.In late July 2008, The Third Plenary Session of the 3rd Committee of the Chongqing CPC, Xilai Bo, Secretary Municipal Committee of the CPC, put forward a brand new concept—-integration of critical elements. He indicates to integrate all the critical elements: capital, technology, competent professionals and managerial expertise, so that all the seeds can grow up and get a rich harvest. The concept is full of guide meaning in Chongqing satellite TV’s industry development. Based on the integration concept, the paper presents new industry development pathway for the Chongqing satellite TV.Firstly, the article introduces the development process of provincial Satellite TV briefly, analyses their competition status, so as to put Chongqing satellite TV on a macroscopical and all-sided background, and make out its advantage and shortage objectively. Afterwards, we analyse generic theory about resource and critical elements to lay the theory foundation for the study. On this basis, we can analyse the principle of integration of critical elements for Chongqing satellite TV. Finally, we propose concrete strategy and suggestions on integration of critical elements for Chongqing satellite TV. |
