| Title | Multi-scale Entropy Analysis of Body Gait Based on Acceleration |
| Abstract | Studying and processing physiological signals have been the focus of human health and medical research for a long time. Gait is relevant to physiological factors, such as human physiological structure, movement control system, and psychological factors. As the fingerprints, it contains individual specific information. Acceleration, as an important aspect of gait information, contains a lot of information about body motion system, and reflects the characteristics of human’s metal and movement state.In the paper, experiments are designed on the base of signal acquisition system by a 3 axis accelerometer MMA7260Q and a data acquisition card UAB2OOOAQ. At first, the original data of 3 axis accelerations are acquired from different subjects in different states. Then, coordinate axis conversion algorithm is designed to get the reliable data for the study of multi-scale information entropy.After researching and comparing several methods to analyze the entropy, the method of the multi-scale entropy is selected to analyze acceleration signals. And after the relevant research of the entropy curves, it is found that the curves have a very good repeatability. Compared with its power spectrum, the advantages of Multi-scale entropy in data analysis are obvious. The results show that the method of Multi-scale entropy can better reflect the details of the acceleration characteristics. After extracting the characteristics points of the Multi-scale entropy curve and analyzing them, it is found that the wave crests of curve from different subjects have different distribution. At the same time, self-correlation and cross-correlation calculation results show that curves from the same subject are very similar, while those from different subjects are quite different. In the end, the analysis of the multi-scale entropy curves for abnormal gait show the changing trends of the characteristics points and entropy. |
